Diverting a Telephone Number to Natterbox

If you wish to use the Natterbox Service, you can normally port your number to us, however if you simply wish to divert for the purposes of testing you can use the guidance below.

BT

Analogue land lines can be activated and de-activated using a code but the callers will hear a BT announcement “please hold the line. Your call is being diverted”. To remove this announcement you must call BT customer services number: 0800 800 152.

  • Activate call divert always: *21*[new number]#
  • De-activate call divert always: #21#
  • To check if activated: *#21# Note.

This divert feature may require activation by BT which takes up to 24hrs to enable, and has a monthly cost associated with it (approx £1.75).

ISDN 30 lines

These can be diverted for free max. 2x free diverts per year. This is instant with NO or little loss of service. Customer must call BT ISDN customer services with the ISDN main number and new number to be diverted to with their customer reference number. Can be the main number only and or the DDi range. BT customer services: 0800 679 079

Virgin Media for Business

Analogue land lines can be activated and de-activated using a code but is dependent on area zone. [Green / Red / Blue / Yellow / pink] To find out which zone you must call 1765 from the Virgin land line or call 0800 953 1800.

All zones apart from Red

  • Activate call divert always: *21*[new number]#
  • De-activate call divert always: #21#
  • To check if activated: *#21#

Red zone area

  • Activate call divert always: *70[new number]#
  • De-activate call divert always: #70#

Note. The customer may need to have this feature activated, which takes up to 24hrs to enable. Monthly cost approx £1.75 plus a £15.00 set fee.

ISDN 30 Lines

The customer must call Virgin Media to activate the call divert and to cancel the call divert. There is a charge for this feature.

  • Set-up fee £20.00 set fee plus a monthly fee of £1.75... 2hrs to set up.
  • De-activate fee £20.00 Out of hours fee £120.00
  • Can be set up on the main number only or the DDi also.

Mobile Divert

  • Busy: *67*[new number]#
  • No Reply: *61*[new number]#
  • Mobile NOT reachable: *62*[new number]# (**62*08458055235#)
  • Cancel diverts: ##002#[send]
  • To increase ring timer: *61*[new number]**10# send. (increments of 5 seconds).
